In the past I have always shared the popular opinion that Estate Agents would not be top of my christmas card list. However my view of this was changed following a very tricky move into our current home.

What should have been fairly straight forward, with a short chain ended up as a complete nightmare when our vendor's health declined and they decided to buy a property with their son, instead of the empty property they were purchasing. This turn our sale into a forked chain, dependant on the exchange and completion of many more properties. We were delayed by four months and in that time our estate agent fought our corner and kept us in touch all the way. They really did earn their fee! Not only that, the day after we moved in, I was the lucky recipient of a beautiful bouquet of flowers to thank us for our patience!
