Spanish service …

During a recent short stay in Marbella, I picked up a copy of The Olive Press .  My eye was drawn to a reader called Susan bemoaning the ‘underhand’ way of doing things in Spain so much so that after six years, she was moving back to the UK.

I can sympathise, because I’ve had nearly two years of dealing with Telefonica for my land line and internet connection.  They have English speaking staff but none of my requests have led to any service being provided.  I’ve been charged for calls when I wasn’t even in Spain, interruptions in my internet line, and the most costly monthly bills of around Euros 99 per month. When I phoned them to cancel my account, I was offered an excellent deal - which I’m still waiting for six months later!  Needless to say, I’ve had my fill, and have now cancelled my account with them.  Can anyone suggest an alternative provider, who does exactly what they promise at reasonable cost?

PS - By the way, Susan, I don’t think you’ll find moving back to England much better, as things seem to be going from bad to worse and we don’t have the lovely Costa del Sol sunshine either!
