I’m not moving, just improving …
Content with where I live, close to tennis, golf, beach, shops and work, I’ve decided to improve the 1955 chalet bungalow we bought back in 1997. I’ve had plans drawn up (and now approved) to improve up and out, providing us with another bedroom and a sunroom.
Waiting for the quotes to come back for the building work, and I don’t really have a clue - but surely it must be better than paying out for stamp duty if we moved again?

R W Hilder & Co’s Land Department have announced the sale of a residential development site in Uckfield, East Sussex for 60 plots.
Marketing commenced in early 2008 and initial offers were very encouraging - but then came the credit crunch. Unconditional contracts have now been exchanged with completion in December 2009.
