One thing that really annoys me here is not being able to get through to the phone company easily - but at least they try to speak to you in your own language. How many companies in england could do this without the use of translators? Not so much for the warmer weather (always a bonus), but to steadier economies, with lower living costs and a more sensible pace of life! Who wants to work all the hours under the sun, only to spend all their wages just making ends meet? Soaring food and utility bills - your money can go a lot further abroad - and the sun shines too. I've been away from Britain for the last 2 years and the only part I have truly missed is the greenery.
